Design Build Texas
A student-led design project for a family in the Texas hill country. This modestly sized home looks out on a grand view of rolling wildflowers thanks the the ranch owners commitment to land restoration. The house is nestled into the hillside and features a metal roof that catches and directs rainwater to a series of storage tanks. These tanks can hold enough water to sustain the family’s water needs for up to three months.
